Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Sorry it's been so long since an update- I've been busy as hell.
So I guess I got here 4 or 5 days ago, and have been mostly working, although I have had a couple of fun nights out with the fellas. This is definitely a fun town, there's probably more to do here at night than anywhere else in the world (and I don't just mean the red-light district). There are bars and "coffeeshops" open all hours, and it seems like the streets are always packed with locals and tourists alike trying to get their party on... and most everyone speaks English, which is a major plus. But I still get frustrated with not being able to read.
On to the images:
Forget Jesus. Chris is MY homeboy.
Not sure why, but I really like taking pictures of ceilings.
Last night I went out with the boys, and we found an interesting death metal bar in a basement. We hung out there until the band became unbearable. God only knows how many shots of Jager later, we found another bar with live acoustic music. I somehow managed to talk my way into playing, so I took advantage of the opportunity to turn the Dutch on to some Marvin Gaye.
Hoping that shit's going well at home, and I can't help but feel like I'm missing out on the last little bit of summer there.... You folks enjoy it while it lasts.
