Car stuff.

With all the driving back and forth up north to see S, I decided it'd be nice to have a car a little more comfortable than the trusty Escort.... so I bought a Mustang. It definitely needed some help in the appearance department....

So I went up to visit her with the honest intention of buying some sane, conservative, non-bling, not too big rims. And of course, we all know how that worked out.....

I really wasn't sure if 20s would be too much on a Mustang or not, but I think it turned out okay.

Next up is the hydraulic kit, so I can roll with Snoop Dogg.

Amsterdam wrap up

On to the pics, brothas and sistas......

The irony in this picture will stop you dead in your tracks:

Speaking of funny cars, Christopholes and I found the car that the thugs drive in Holland:

But the REAL pimps like me drive this one:

Here, I serenade these two poor young ladies at the karaoke pub. This was right before I sang "Let's Get it On" to Chris in front of half of Holland. Yep, drunk.

They have a LOT of bicycles in Amsterdam... and just incase you don't believe me, here's a pic of a parking garage full of them.

And please don't ask if I rode one- we all know that I'm much too cool for that.

... And here is "Dog Dookie Park," affectionately named so by Chris, who lost his appetite at lunch one day because of the overwhelming stench of dog doo-doo.

Oh, and speaking of odors, have you smelled my Nutroma?

And to top if off, that stuff is actually coffee creamer... exactly what you want in mind when you're pouring a white, milky liquid into your mug, huh??

So, in summary: Amsterdam = cool. Even if you're not into whores and weed. But you really have to pay attention to what is officially sidewalk and what is offically bicycle path. It doesn't look like there's a difference, but there is. And they get kinda pissy when you're walking in their way. I, for one, don't consider those little bicycle bells intimidating, but evidently some of the pansy men in Amsterdam think I should. And they don't like it when you respond to their bell-ringing by telling them to "just grow up and buy a car." Trust me.

I saw a cute shirt the other night- it said, "Good girls go to Heaven. Bad girls go to Amsterdam." Hooooow true is that.

Okay- stay tuned. More updates from home/up north at S's house in a bit.

Yep, he's still a retard.

Currently sitting in bed at 4AM, drinking the last Killian's out of the fridge, and secretly wishing that my phone would ring.

I changed my profile pic to something a little more recent... better or worse?

So, I guess I've got a LOT of updating to do... I may even have to break it down into small, bite-sized, ADD friendly pieces for you. But it's all good, Daddy take good care of ya.

In the meantime, here's one of my room-service breakfast from AmsterdamN.

Look for more updatification tomorrow, hopefully.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands

So I guess I got here 4 or 5 days ago, and have been mostly working, although I have had a couple of fun nights out with the fellas. This is definitely a fun town, there's probably more to do here at night than anywhere else in the world (and I don't just mean the red-light district). There are bars and "coffeeshops" open all hours, and it seems like the streets are always packed with locals and tourists alike trying to get their party on... and most everyone speaks English, which is a major plus. But I still get frustrated with not being able to read.

On to the images:

Forget Jesus. Chris is MY homeboy.

Not sure why, but I really like taking pictures of ceilings.

Last night I went out with the boys, and we found an interesting death metal bar in a basement. We hung out there until the band became unbearable. God only knows how many shots of Jager later, we found another bar with live acoustic music. I somehow managed to talk my way into playing, so I took advantage of the opportunity to turn the Dutch on to some Marvin Gaye.

Hoping that shit's going well at home, and I can't help but feel like I'm missing out on the last little bit of summer there.... You folks enjoy it while it lasts.
